Key Roles & Responsibilites
- Lead accounting activities in accordance with applicable legislation and internal directives
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Prepare statutory financial statements under Czech accounting standards
- Manage VAT, corporate income tax, and other tax obligations
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and tax authorities
- Oversee asset accounting and inventory processes
- Ensure timely settlement of financial obligations
- Monitor accounting and tax legislation changes and ensure their implementation
- Manage and develop a small accounting team
- Provide accounting analyses and professional support to management
- Support the consolidation and reporting activities of the EMOS Group
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role
- Team leadership experience or readiness to step into a broader leadership position
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial closing, and audit processes
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and professional judgement
- Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluent English (spoken and written, B2+)
- Advanced MS Office skills

- Act as the accounting subject-matter expert during future ERP implementation projects

Experience with ERP implementations, shared service environments, automation, or finance transformation projects is welcome but not a requirement from day one.
